We started our trip out with a stop in Fargo to have supper with some Rock City Riot gentlemen. It is nice to know we have family everywhere that we can pop in and see.
The awesomeness had just started we rolled into Grand Forks, ND early and got some real sleep for once. Up early and off to the venue. Which happen to be a hockey rink (they love their hockey there, and so do we.)
We started warming up and realized we had a talented group of skaters and a great bunch of women and men. We ripped through all of our agility drill and moved on to our skill set focused at a high skating level which people seemed to enjoy. T3 had a good time watching the smiles of those trying something new and fun.
After lunch we talked about skate maintenance and how important it is not only for the extended life of your skates but for your agility and speed on the track. As we stepped into strategy we answered a ton of questions and then watched the ladies put all the answered questions into their play. It was a hell of a long day and everyone involved put their heart into it which made it all worthwhile.
After all was said and done we went off to the local grub shack and got some amazing food and got to know some of the girls that will be forever friends, thank for all the love Forx Roller Derby!! Hope to see you all soon on or off the track.
